A group of friends and I recently stayed at James's place, James was an amazing host, extremely responsive, and very helpful and accommodating. He helped us organize our rides to and from the airport as well as boat rides to other surf spots. We opted to do the full catering, James also organized that for us. Andrea was an amazing chef, she always had great food for us waiting once we got back from our Surf, fresh fruits, and fruit juices and kept the house very clean. If anyone is looking for a house to stay at Colorado's, I would highly recommend staying with James. The house is right at Colorados, there were only a few houses that were closer. We are hoping to come back soon and if we do, we will definitely be staying here. James thank you so much for everything, you really helped to make our trip extremely enjoyable. Whenever booking an Airbnb, I always hope that the house and hosts are as good as you guys!

This was one of my favorite Airbnbs. Located directly on the beach with lots of outdoor living space. Right on the surf break for all the surfers and a short ride to golf in the afternoon. Iguana has great amenities and friendly welcoming residents. The trip was enjoyed by all!

The house was in a wonderful location, and the cook was amazing. The host James was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. I recommend renting a scooter or golf cart while you are here to help you get around a little bit.

Had a wonderful stay at Santuario del Sol. The house is wonderful and the backyard is expansive with epic views of the surf at Colorados! James is extremely responsive and the staff are excellent and friendly. I highly recommend this place for surfers, beachgoers and families! The pool area is fantastic for swimming and lounging right in front of the beach with plenty of shady spots during the afternoon!  Five Stars all the way!

It was incredible! My family and I loved our stay here and would definitely come again.

Absolutely epic stay here. Group of guys came strictly to surf out front. House on the beach was 100% the right call to keep track of the conditions all day and strike when you liked what you saw. The house was great, James was always available to answer questions and help us with anything. One of the bedrooms was actually a separate casita on the property. We decided to pack ourselves into the main house since the casita wasn’t quite as nice as staying in the main house, but no one was upset about it. If you’re deliberating over whether or not to do the catering service that is offered, you absolutely should. Tia Andrea was the secret weapon of our trip. She had us eating like kings ! We were surfing our brains out and came in hungry all the time, but we still had to tell her to lighten up the lunch so we had an appetite for dinner !! We’ll be back. Great place.

This was my fifth surf trip to Nicaragua, and my friends and I agree it was probably the best. The location of the house couldn’t be better, just steps away from me main break at playa Colorado. When we’re not surfing we can watch all the other surfers put on a show from our backyard. James and Norman were very responsive, arranging shuttle, transportation, in house dining, and a very productive fishing trip as well. If you’re lucky enough to have chef Andrea prepare delicious Nicaraguan meals for you, you won’t need to do a thing except enjoy the gorgeous beach.

Rented this house for my 40th birthday, had several friends with little kids come, and it was perfect. The backyard is amazing and very safe for little ones and family to wonder. We got to watch ‘surf TV’ if Playa Colorado’s while sitting on the fence out back - so cool! Really wonderful place. James is a great, super accommodating and quick to respond. Made our trip easy. Housekeepers are so lovely and wash your Laundry daily! Everyone was so pleasant my group couldn’t have been more happy. Highly recommend for any get away!

Best experience you could have. EVERYTHING was handled from being picked up at the airport till the moment we were dropped back off to go home. Our family of 4 had a fantastic 2 week stay here. The house, grounds, and pool are just as they appear in the photos; everything is very well maintained, clean, and in good repair. Beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Didn't need the A/C in July, the ceiling fans were sufficient for us. Besides, you will want to leave the windows open at night and go to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach... Can't say enough about Andrea - she is a wonderful cook and lovely person. We ate like kings - fresh fish, lobster, BBQ ribs, steak, different tropical fruits and her amazing juice concoctions every day. Also enjoyed a few meals at Pili's place, a 5 minute walk down the beach, and downtown Iguana, a 15 minute walk. And, of course, the location: none better in Iguana. Wake up, check the surf from the back door, paddle out. Outdoor shower, plunge in the pool after each session, followed by a great meal, courtesy of Andrea. Rinse & repeat. We also really appreciated James/Nica365 hooking us up with a local surf guide who arranged a couple of excursions to nearby breaks, by boat and by car, and for filming of our surfing. We Will absolutely be back.

James was great from the get go! As the trip approached he made sure all shuttle were scheduled and addressed any questions we had. As some flights got delayed and plans changes he made sure that everything was taken care of. Poncho, James on site help, was like our own personal concierge. I am already looking forward to going back

Great location, amazing house. The property managers answered all questions throughout the trip in a timely manner. Perfect weather, warm water, and epic scenery. Good surf out front and nearby spots, crowded for sure, but be patient and you’ll get some. Nearby hike , fishing, golfing. Pretty much the house and location have it all, just go.

Beautiful home in the most amazing place!

Probably the best beach vacation rental we have ever had as a family! Lovely house located right on a superb beach, with a gorgeous shady garden and private pool. Ideal for a family with young children as it really suited everybody's needs. We loved spending our days relaxing by the pool and watching the waves, or waking out onto the beach and pretending to be able to surf. Iguana is a great place to be based. Easy to get to, good quality roads, and a lovely little community with lots of places to eat/drink. The beach club is a must for an afternoon smoothie or happy hour sunset cocktail. We were very well looked after by James and his team. The house was thoroughly cleaned every morning and the pool and garden was well looked after too. We really hope to be able to return!

My friends and I have stayed at this house for two years in a row and it does not disappoint. The location is great and the house is clean and well equipped but that is not what makes this a great place to stay. The staff is amazing! I don’t even really know where to start. The house and area turned out to be amazing and we had one of our best vacations. We did the meal plan which I would highly recommend. Andrea is great and is a fabulous cook and cleans when not cooking. She is very nice and as all the staff. The waves and beach front is one of the best. The house is perfect for the beach. We had 6 people and plenary of room. We saw monkeys right outside the house and the sunsets are literally unbelievable. Loved this place and we will be back ❤️

Fantastic time at Playa Colorado. Great location.  The Nica365 team was amazing and ensured a seamless stay. I would highly recommend.

There is a reason this is the cheapest beachfront in hacienda iguana, this place is run down. The noise of rats kept us up all night only to find rat droppings all over the floor downstairs every morning. The host was no help at all with that issue or others. The bikes they give you have flat tires, best of luck getting to town! The radio does not work so bring your own speaker. However the location and safety is 5 stars. The night guard is awesome and very friendly.

We loved staying at Casa la Selva. It was perfect for 2. We especially loved sweet Lulu (the house cat) who followed us everywhere. The Casita had everything we needed with close proximity to everything we wanted to do. A must stay for sure. We'll be back soon!

This place was amazing. Starting with location, you can't get any better. Perfectly situated between Colorados and panga drops.  The accommodations were better than advertised. The house was spacious, clean and had everything from the pool to the outdoor shower. The host met us and offered his assistance every step of the way.  Andrea, the housekeeper went above and beyond making us feel welcome and Thomas the night security guard made a safe place feel even safer. I would recommend this house for any occasion, wether your with your families or just a surf trip with the guys. Thanks everyone for making our trip so great!

When my husband and I first walked into the house we were dumbfounded. We just couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. There is a great breeze that runs through the entirety of the house, so much so that at night my parents in the bedroom upstairs didn't even need the AC on! And talk about a lullabye... Being right on the beach you could easily fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. James (though this was actually David I was talking to) was incredibly helpful and responsive before we even got to the place. He answered questions in rapid time and accommodated my parents rides to and from the airport. He even showed them parts of Granada and recommended produce at the market. They were ecstatic! The staff was AMAZING. Andrea cleaned for us every day and even washed clothes for us. She also brought in new 5 gal water jugs whenever we were low and arranged for the "lobster guy" to bring us some fish and lobster for purchase. (SO DELICIOUS!) Iain was also a great help. He helped arrange a trip to Ometepe for us (which we didn't end up doing on our own accord, but it's on the list for next year), as well as in-house massages, rides to and from Rancho Santana for dinner, and generally answered all questions we had incredibly fast. The place itself is GORGEOUS. The pool is beautifully tiled and has great shade in the afternoon. There is a round table with chairs beyond that where you can watch the sunset, and the place is within a 5 minute walking distance on the beach to the Beach & Golf Club bar and Pili's Restaurant (both of which I highly recommend). Plus, the hammocks are a major win and a great way to spend the afternoon with a good book. Though it's a bit of a hike, I would also recommend walking into the town of El Gigante to spend some time at the fishing village. It's about an hour walk with great views the entire way. This place was absolutely amazing and my parents and sister in particular (they hadn't been to Nicaragua before like my husband and I had) fell so in love with it they already started planning their next trip. Highly recommend!

This home couldn't be in a better location. When we weren't playing in the perfect surf, we were sitting in the pool watching it. The house, pool, and yard were cleaned everyday by the friendly staff. James was extremely easy to work with and communicated with us perfectly. He helped us with the taxi from the airport. As far as Iguana, there is no reason to leave other than to check out Nicaragua culture. Even in early season, in my eyes, the waves were perfect every day. We will be back!!!!!”

When my husband and I first walked into the house we were dumbfounded. We just couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. There is a great breeze that runs through the entirety of the house, so much so that at night my parents in the bedroom upstairs didn't even need the AC on! And talk about a lullabye... Being right on the beach you could easily fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. James (though this was actually David I was talking to) was incredibly helpful and responsive before we even got to the place. He answered questions in rapid time and accommodated my parents rides to and from the airport. He even showed them parts of Granada and recommended produce at the market. They were ecstatic! The staff was AMAZING. Andrea cleaned for us every day and even washed clothes for us. She also brought in new 5 gal water jugs whenever we were low and arranged for the "lobster guy" to bring us some fish and lobster for purchase. (SO DELICIOUS!) Iain was also a great help. He helped arrange a trip to Ometepe for us (which we didn't end up doing on our own accord, but it's on the list for next year), as well as in-house massages, rides to and from Rancho Santana for dinner, and generally answered all questions we had incredibly fast. The place itself is GORGEOUS. The pool is beautifully tiled and has great shade in the afternoon.
