Double glazed Krombeplast windows arrive all the way from sunny Vladivostok via Guatemala and Casa Nova, Managua. Installation almost complete 5 days after delivery.
Steel rebar and form work complete for the swimming pool and swimming pool light in position. Work has begun pouring concrete for swimming pool walls.
Swimming pool rebar for base and steps done, just the walls now remain. Gypsum PermaBase walls for internal and external closets, including surf board closet.
Base concrete has been poured into swimming pool excavation and work is underway preparing rebar. Floor and bathroom tiling almost complete.
Ceramic floor tiles going down in living areas and bathrooms. Connecting up water cistern to external supply. Cover on fourth tank of septic system.
Excavation has been dug for the swimming pool and a delivery of steel on-site. Floor tiling has begun on the front terrace. Master bathroom being tiled with the same tile.
Tiling underway on main house roof and plastic guttering up above front & rear terraces. Steel roof girders being clad in decorative wood. Main house walls being primed.
Main house walls rendered and roof almost finished. Copper air conditioning pipes and 220v electric cabling installed. Concrete forms over arches and windowsills done.
Roof getting wired up for lights and fans, all cables in PVC tubes. Cinder block internal partition walls going up for bathrooms and bedroom.
Work is underway bambooing main house roof. Some inside walls have been fine rendered. Concrete floors down throughout.
Timber and steel roof structure complete in main house, bamboo and tin sheeting going up. Concrete rebar water tank being built.
Work continues with the roof structure in the main house. Main sewage line from guest house being installed.
