Decadently Luxurious Mediterranean Style Villa
Amongst other things this fully air-conditioned 3b/3b villa features a jacuzzi sunk into the master bedroom floor, an infinity edged lap pool, two 50" flat panel TV's and fast wireless internet. This well appointed villa is also equipped with a quite operation automatic diesel generator, so guests are never left groping for torches in the event of the power going out - which happens quite frequently in Nicaragua.
The Location?
Casa del las Flores is located in Southern Nicaragua within the Rancho Santana resort. Rancho Santana boasts over 3,000 acres of virgin hardwood forest and has four lovely beaches, two of which (Playa Rosada & Playa Santana) have good surf breaks. Heading south, the first beach along is Playa Rosada and then the appropriately named Playa Escondida. Playa Escondida is no good for surfing, but is great for fishing and snorkelling. Rancho Santana's southernmost beach is called Playa Duna and is blessed with a 200 meter long rocky outcrop which is great for fishing off. The next beach along to the south (Playa Iguana) hosts two world class surf breaks - Panga Drops and Colorados. While not private, the beaches to the north are just as delightful. First up is Playa Santana which is a great surfing beach. And the next beach to the north is Popoyo which hosts Nicaragua's most famous big wave break of the same name.
What's There to Do?
The major draw to Nicaragua's South West are definitely the multitudinous surf breaks. Within half an hour of the house you have access to two world class beach breaks (Playa Santana and Colorados), three reef breaks (Panga Drops, Popoyo Outer and Inner Reefs) and a point break (Playa Rosada). Aside from surfing, guests at Casa del las Flores always enjoy the natural beauty of the area whilst exploring the local villages (on horseback if you like) and experiencing the tremendous local hospitality. There are also miles & miles of great trails for hiking and mountain biking within the Rancho Santana resort.
