Hacienda Iguana is a private, gated Golf and Beach Resort located in Nicaragua's beautiful South Western province of Rivas, just north of Costa Rica. It enjoys year-round warm weather and offshore winds. Hacienda Iguana boasts a mile long stretch of white sand beach which hosts both the Colorados beach break and the Panga Drops reef. Hacienda Iguana also has a members only beach club with 15 meter swimming pool, volleyball court, and a members only championship golf course.
The Surf
Our condo sits right on the best beach break in Nicaragua - Colorados. The other break within Hacienda Iguana is Panga Drops - a deep water reef that keeps on giving ridable waves throughout the year, even when everywhere else has gone flat. Panga Drops is a ten minute walk along the beach from our condo. Land access to both of these breaks is difficult for those not staying at Hacienda Iguana requiring either a long walk or a bumpy boat ride.
