All inclusive kitesurf tours of Nicaragua's lake district during
the windiest part of Nicaragua's phenomenal December
through April windy season. Trips are organized on a weekly basis and
itineraries planned on-the-fly according to actual conditions. We have
mapped tons of kite spots, so have somewhere new to take you everyday
whatever the wind. The most likely wind conditions are steady North
Easterlies at 15kts to 25kts, but stronger winds will be experienced
during a Papagayo event - in which case we head for shelter.

Sample Itinerary
Our
base camp is San Jorge, on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. San
Jorge gets the most consistent wind and is central to all other spots.
Each day, depending upon conditions, we'll drive to
the best location. If its howling (35kts++) the spots at the northern
and southern extremes of the lake remain
manageable. Strong wind (25kts to 35kts) is manageable in most places,
but there are several spots which really shine under these conditions.
On medium wind days (15-25kts) the spots in the Rivas area catch the
most wind and work best -- the beach directly in front of our base camp at San Jorge being a great location for these days. Included in the
package is an overnight trip to Ometepe (several good spots, amazing
views, super interesting) and an overnight trip to Costa Rica's Bahia
Salinas (great spot!!). As with the rest of the package, the exact
timing of these overnighters will be decided at the last minute according to the conditions.
What if there's no wind?
In the unlikely event that there's light or no wind, we have something
VERY cool
up our sleeves. At no extra expense we put you up in one of the luxury
beach houses or condos we manage right on the Colorados (

surf breaks. So if you come kiting with us rest assured
that you'll be getting wet everyday - probably in high winds on the
lake, but possibly in empty line-ups catching some uncrowded off-season
surf sessions. In the event that your
kitesurf trip becomes a surf trip, there are no extra costs - we even
provide high quality, newish, custom surf boards!!
More Details
Our kitesurf tours are based on a one week, Saturday to Saturday package starting
the first Saturday of December and running weekly until the first
Saturday of April. We need a minimum of three people to run a tour. Our packages are fully inclusive - all
you need to do is arrive at Managua airport, from that point on we take
care of everything
except alcohol. The rate is $1,100 per person
per
week. We do not offer instruction and our tours are suitable only for
